TERMS AND CONDITIONS
This webshop is operated by Slow Products Ltd. These Terms and Conditions are part of the sales contracts of the orders in the webshop. By placing an order for any goods in the webshop the Customer is offering to make the purchase on and subject to these Terms and Conditions.

The prices listed in the webshop are applying to single products, including VAT but not home delivery costs. Slow Products Ltd. reserves the right to alter the prices of products. Any modification will take effect simultaneously with the appearance in the webshop. The modification does not negatively affect the purchase price of the products already ordered.
(3) Purchases and Payment
In case of courier delivery, you may opt to pay with credit card or via PayPal. Credit card and PayPal payments must be made when the order is placed.
Credit card payment: after ordering, the Costumer pays the product(s) fee via a secure payment system in the webshop. The payment system is provided by OTP Bank Zrt.
PayPalon keresztül történő fizetés: after ordering, the Costumer pays the product(s) fee via PayPal’s website.
Your credit card details are not recorded by Slow Products Ltd. in any way, we do not even see them. After a successful payment, the financial institution’s website redirects you to our user interface. The same thing happens in the case of unsuccessful payment, so you can try to use your credit card again.
The financial institution of Slow Products Ltd. can only accept the following credit cards:
- Visa Electron
- American Express
(4) Home delivery
After placing your order, please use your credit card to pay your order on the secure payment platform of OTP Bank Zrt.
In the case of a successful payment, you will receive an email from Slow Products Ltd. about confirming your order, and another one with your bill.
After that, we start preparing your package for shipping. This will take place within 2 business days.
After that, the package will arrive to you within 3-6 business days. Delivery is done only on weekdays, during business hours. Please make sure you give us an address where you are able to receive the package during this time period.
On the day of the delivery, your courier will send you a notification (email or text message) including the estimated time of delivery.
If you can not receive the package from the courier at the specified address, the courier will leave you a note with contact info to discuss a subsequent delivery date. Delivery will be attempted 3 times in total. If you can not take over the package at the third time, the courier will return it to us. Upon receipt of the returned delivery, we will contact you via email and you will be able to request re-mailing for double the prices detailed above.
After the payment of the appropriate fee, we will send you a confirmation email and will send you the product within 1 month.
Last delivery date in 2019: December 23rd.
Orders received after 10th December will be delivered after Christmas.

(5) Complaint handling, Conciliation Body, Customer Service
Customers may submit complaints about the product or Slow Products Kft., including any objections raised after the sale of the product, on the following contact details:

For the purpose of court-related, peaceful settlement of consumer disputes relating to the quality, safety of products and the application of product liability rules and the conclusion and performance of a contract, the Customer may initiate a procedure at the assigned conciliation body.

Slow Products Kft. has not adopted a code of conduct for itself.
Weinform you that you are entitled to enforce your claim arising out of a dispute in court.
(6) Cancellation and Refunds
Within 14 days, the Costumer has the right to withdraw from this contract without reason. The withdrawal period shall expire 14 days after the date on which the Customer takes over the product. If the Customer wishes to resume the right of withdrawal, he or she must provide a clear statement (eg. by post, fax or email) of his or her intention to withdraw to the following address:

The Costumer shall exercise his right of withdrawal within a time limit if he or she sends his withdrawal statement before the expiry of the above deadline. If the Customer withdraws from this contract, we will refund all remuneration received from the Customer without delay but no later than 14 days after the receipt of the Customer’s cancellation notice. Refunds may be withheld until the product has been returned or the Customer has not verified that it has been returned.
(7) Product liability, Warranty obligation
In the event of a defective performance of contract by Slow Products Kft., the Costumer may file a product liability claim according to the rules of the Civil Code. The Customer may, in his choice, have the following claims:
The Costumer may request correction or replacement, unless the fulfilment of any of these requirements by the Customer is impossible or would incur a disproportionate additional cost. If the Costumer would or could not have requested correction or replacement, he or she may request a proportional discount, fix the error at the expense of the Company, or terminate the contract.
The Costumer will be able to switch from one eligible liability clam to another, but will also bear the cost of the switch unless it was justified.
The Costumer is obliged to report the error immediately after discovery, but not later than within two months. However, beyond the two-year limitation period after the performance of the contract, warranty rights can no longer be claimed.
The Costumer can enforce the warranty claim against Slow Products Kft. Within six months from the date of delivery, there is no other condition to enforce the claim beyond the report of the error. However, after six months from the date of delivery, the Costumer is required to prove that the defect he or she detected has already occurred at the time of delivery.
In the event of a defect in the goods (product), the Costumer may, at his or her option, enforce a warranty claim. As a product warranty claim, the Costumer may only request the repair or replacement of the defected product.
The product is defected if it does not meet the quality requirements in force when it is placed on the market or if it does not have the features specified by the distributor.
The Costumer may validate a product liability claim within two years after the product being placed on the market by the distributor. After this deadline, he or she will lose his entitlement. The Costumer may only file liability claims against the manufacturer or distributor of the movable product. The Costumer must prove the defect of the product when claiming product liability.
Themanufacturer or distributor is only exempted from its product liability obligation if it can prove that:
- the product has been manufactured or placed on the market by a non-resident business
- the defect could not have been recognized at the time of placing the product on the market
- the defect of the product results from the application of a mandatory regulatory requirement.
The manufacturer or distributor has to have sufficient evidence to justify the exemption.
Due to the same defect, the Costumer can not enforce product liability and warranty claims simultaneously. However, in the event of a successful validation of product warranty claim, the Costumer may enforce the warranty claim for a replaced product or the part repaired.
